Training Process

Dragon generally learned new words, names and phrases on the first try. The training wizard is very simple and straightforward. Occasionally, the wizard will decide to train similar sounding words that might be confused by the recognizer with the word you were explicitly trying to train. We thought this was a good idea which would keep overall accuracy high..

The program had some difficulty with the mythical company "5Com Co." which, despite repeated efforts with the Vocabulary Builder, always came out as "five, Co." The real company whose name is "3Com Co." was handled perfectly by the recognition engine as part of its original vocabulary.
